Community Health Evangelism, or CHE (pronounced “chay”), is a holistic, development strategy whose purpose is to bring together Jesus’ Great Commandment and the Great Commission.   

People are taught how to do things for themselves with the resources they have by equipping and empowering them to problem-solve needs they have recognized in their own communities.  Healthy living and prevention of disease is stressed through simple, feasible measures taught by local, CHE trained individuals.  Scripture is shared as it relates to the hundreds of physical CHE lessons being taught through home visits, encouraging a Biblical lifestyle.  Personal involvement through community wide projects encourages community ownership.  

When this holistic model is placed under God’s direction, a transformed community is developed as people come to experience a healthy, abundant life in Christ.
